Pedagogy

One of the ways learning organizations help youth thrive is through the opening pathways to professional life within and beyond their organization. Mentors and educators are often well connected, can see possibilities and career opportunities, and are able to use this power to help and guide youth.

Guiding Questions

  • How intentional is our organization in helping youth to ‘level-up’ within our programs?
  • Are there certain kinds of youth that rarely get these opportunities? How can we make them accessible to all?
  • How can we have conversations with instructors about how they can be more intentional about mentorship and opening opportunities for our youth?
  • How do we define what it means to be a ‘good mentor’?
  • What’s the first step we could take to build a culture of mentorship?
